Attorney Cynthia Letsch is an Iowa native who obtained her undergraduate degree at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Drake University Law
School, in 1995, graduating from both universities with honors.  In addition to her elder law and estate planning practice, her legal career includes eight years of teaching at the university level, and five years corporate counsel in healthcare.

Her practice is limited to Elder Law, Estate and Special Needs Planning, and Probate/Trust Administration.  She is a frequent speaker on topics of Estate Planning and asset preservation; Medicaid for the Elderly; Special Needs Trust Design and Administration, Medicaid Financial Risk Management for Care Facilities; and Fiduciary Responsibilities of Agents under Powers of Attorney, Guardians, Conservators, and Trustees.

Admitted to practice in Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, and the Federal Southern District of Iowa and Federal District of Nebraska, she is a member of the Iowa Bar Association Probate and Trust Section and Elder Law Section; Missouri Bar Association Probate and Trust Section, Elder Law Section,  Nebraska Bar Association Probate and Trust Section, Elder Law Section, the Dallas County Bar Association; National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; The National Secondary Payers Network, the Special Needs Alliance, Iowa Healthcare Association, and Wealth Counsel.  Cynthia is also a VA accredited attorney, is certified in Corporate Governance from  Tulane Law School, and is a Certified Medicaid Planner.
